The only twinkle are the lights of distant cars

It's full of sharks in the deep dark and they're waiting for you
And on the dusty plain where wheat gave way to stones
Eagle feathers in the dirt among the bisons' bones

Dark skies, black as false pity
The only twinkle are the lights of distant cities

The only lights are planes coming down
